There are plenty of weekends to choose from, such as April 6 to 10 (Holy Week and Araw ng Kagitingan) or *August 25/August 26 to 28 (Iloilo City Charter Day to National Heroes Day). Get ready for your travels by looking at the calendar in anticipation of a great trip! Or, maybe stay in Iloilo City and get to know your local places!

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has officially declared the regular holidays and special non-working days for 2023 in the country after signing Proclamation No. 42, which was made public on Tuesday, August 23. Following this announcement, an amendment to the original proclamation – Proclamation No. 90 – was issued by Marcos on November 11 to accommodate more long weekends for Filipino citizens in the upcoming year. Hopefully, this initiative will bolster vacation opportunities and enable people to enjoy quality time with their loved ones during the holiday season.
